Data controller

The use of cookies and related technologies by ID TECHNOLOGY srl, headquartered in Viale Monte Nero 17, 20135 Milan (MI), P. IVA 11240660156, Tel. (+39) 02 805 11 31, E-mail: contact@idtech.it, PEC: idtech@legalmail.it ("ID TECH" or "Company"), is part of the company's privacy policy, in accordance with the provisions of EU Regulation 2016/679, D. Lgs 196/03 Code on the Protection of Personal Data (Privacy Code) and the Provision of May 8, 2014 "Identification of the simplified modalities for the information and acquisition of consent for the use of cookies" of the Italian Privacy Guarantor.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text strings that sites visited by the user send to the user's terminal (usually to the browser), where they are stored in order to be re-transmitted to the same sites the next time the same user visits. In the course of browsing a Site, the user may also receive on his terminal equipment cookies that are sent by different sites or web servers (so-called "third parties"), on which some elements (such as, for example, images, maps, sounds, specific links to pages of other domains) present on the Site he is visiting may reside.

Cookies, usually present in users' browsers in very large numbers and sometimes even with characteristics of wide temporal persistence, are used for different purposes: performing computer authentication, session monitoring, storing information about specific configurations regarding users accessing the server, etc.

In general, cookies can be divided into:

  • Navigation or session cookies, which ensure normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, authentication to access restricted areas);
  • analytics (or statistical) cookies, assimilated to technical cookies where used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site;
  • Functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a set of selected criteria (for example, language) in order to improve the service rendered to the same. The cookies (excluding technical cookies) currently used on the Site are cookies to manage the user session and to save the language selected by the user;
  • First- and third-party marketing and profiling cookies, which can create profiles about you in order to send you commercial messages that meet the preferences you expressed during your visit or to improve your browsing experience.

When cookies are installed on the basis of consent, that consent can be freely revoked at any time by following the instructions in this document.

Types of cookies used by this Site

The types of cookies used by the Site are listed below:

Technical Cookies

This type of cookie allows certain sections of the Site to function properly. They are of two categories, persistent and session:

- persistent: once the browser is closed, they are not destroyed but remain until a preset expiration date;

- Session: they are destroyed each time the browser is closed.

These cookies, always sent from our domain, are necessary to properly display the Site and in relation to the technical services offered, will therefore always be used and sent, unless the User changes the settings in their browser (altering the display of the Site pages).

Activities strictly necessary for operation

This Site uses cookies to save the User's session and to perform other activities strictly necessary for the operation of the Site, such as in relation to traffic distribution.

Preference saving activities, optimization and statistics

This Site uses cookies to save browsing preferences and optimize the User's browsing experience. These cookies include, for example, those for setting the language or for statistics management by the Site Owner.

Third-party technologies and cookies

Analytical cookies

Cookies in this category are used to collect information about the use of the Site. We reserve the right to use this information to develop anonymous statistical analyses and improve the use of the Site. This type of cookie collects data anonymously about user activity and how users arrived at the Site. Analytical cookies are sent from the Site itself or from third-party domains. They may fall into the category of technical cookies where they are used directly by the Site operator to collect information in aggregate and anonymously.

A web traffic analysis service is provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). These are third-party cookies collected and managed anonymously to monitor and improve the performance of the host site (performance cookies). Google Analytics, in particular, uses "cookies" from this Site to anonymously collect and analyze information about site usage behavior.

This information is collected by Google Analytics, which processes it for the purpose of compiling reports for operators regarding activity on the websites themselves. For more information, please refer to the link below: http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

You can selectively disable the action of Google Analytics by installing the opt-out component provided by Google on your browser. To disable the action of Google Analytics, please refer to the link below: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

This Site uses (but does not allow third parties to use) Google's analytics tool to track or collect personally identifiable information. In any case, where used, we will take care to adopt the feature of anonymizing user IPs in Analytics, through so-called "IP address masking" (this way Google will not associate the IP address with any other data held, nor will it try to link an IP address with a user's identity).

Social cookies

Our Site also uses third-party cookies to enjoy interactions with social networks (social plug-ins). The presence of these plug-ins involves the transmission of cookies to and from all sites operated by third parties. The management of information collected by "third parties" is governed by the relevant disclosures to which please refer. For the sake of transparency and convenience, below are the web addresses of the different disclosures and cookie management methods

These plug-ins do not set a cookie, but if it is already present on the visitor's computer, they are able to read and use it according to the visitor's settings. The collection and use of information by these third parties is governed by their respective privacy policies to which you are referred.

Please also note that if you "click" on these links, these websites may place cookies once you connect to their services.

Social cookies are not necessary for browsing and, as established by the Italian Data Protection Authority, if they fall under profiling cookies, consent must be provided for the installation of such cookies on the user's device. In the specific case, however, these are simply links to third-party sites that do not install profiling cookies.

In particular, this Site uses plug-ins from Facebook and Twitter. The cookies of these third parties are not under the control of the Owner and, therefore, for more information on how the third party uses cookies, we recommend that you visit the relevant website whose web addresses are provided below where you can also find the specific disclosures and how to manage cookies:

Managing cookies: deletion and consent to their use

Deleting cookies does not preclude use of the site but may result in changes in navigation and access to the restricted area.

Users/visitors can set their computer's browser to accept/reject all cookies or display a warning whenever a cookie is offered so they can consider whether to accept it.

There are for this purpose components (plug-ins) for popular browsers that allow:

  • The management (viewing, deletion, blocking) of cookies;
  • The disabling of third-party javascript pages;
  • The display of technologies employed by the site;
  • The display and (selective) blocking of different tracking mechanisms.

By default, almost all web browsers are set to automatically accept cookies. You can, however, change the default configuration, which with browsers (such as, e.g., Internet Explorer) is the average one, and disable cookies (i.e., block them permanently) by setting, in the appropriate tab ("Privacy"), the highest level of protection (Highest), but please be advised that disabling them may impair the use of features of the site. In any case, you also have the option to delete (or delete) cookies from your personal computer, using the appropriate function in your browser. The deletion of cookies does not preclude the use of the site, but involves repeating the authentication procedure, that is, re-entering your login credentials in the restricted area. If you want to decide from time to time whether or not to accept cookies, you can also configure your browser to generate a warning each time a cookie is saved.

Duration

The Cookies used are session cookies i.e. temporary cookies that help the user navigate within the site and remember choices made during the session. These cookies are deactivated as soon as you leave the site or after a period of time of inactivity. No advertising cookies are used.

How to disable cookies by browser configuration

Most browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome etc.) are configured to accept cookies. However, most browsers allow you to control and even disable cookies through the browser settings (for example, in Firefox, through the menu Tools->Options->Privacy, you can access a control panel where you can define whether or not to accept different types of cookies and proceed to their removal). Please note, however, that disabling browsing or functional cookies may cause the site to malfunction and/or limit the service offered.

Disabling "third-party" cookies does not affect navigability in any way.
